WILDERNESS CAMPING AND VAN SITES
Our van and tent sites face the morning sun and are positioned along the top of the resort. Enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee while watching the sun rise and listening to the bellbirds melody. Come back to comfort after a day filled with central exploring, warm up and refresh with a hot shower and unwind with a glass of wine or cold beer while you watch the sunset over the trees.
All guests have access to the shared bathroom, unlimited hot showers and self catering kitchen facilities which are a short walk from the tent and van sites. You can even enjoy the fresh filtered rainwater, without having to boil it first! There is a communal common area with a dining table, brochures for planning your trip, and TV. All guests also have access to Wifi during their stay!

VAN SITES
Our resort has both Powered and Non-powered van sites to choose from. Our camping guests enjoy the use of all shared park facilities, as well as the advantage of being able to dump grey water and fill with freshly filtered rain water! All van sites are situated on crushed stone and oyster shell to improve drainage in this rainforest environment and avoid getting stuck on grass areas. There are plenty of nearby grass areas to set up lawn furniture for your enjoyment. If you will be setting up an awning please let us know in advance and highly recommend bringing a peg hammer with you.
TENT SITES
There are numerous grass areas around the park available to pitch a small or large tent in the shelter of trees and flax. You can camp near a picnic table and watch the Tui and Woodpigeon fly amongst the native plants. You can park your vehicle on the compact gravel areas close by to your tent site.
DORM
If you are a backpacker on a budget there is a dorm room available. We provide bottom sheets and pillows, all you need is your own sleeping bag/blanket, and towel. The dorm room is attached to the common lounge, with access to the TV, DVD player and travel information. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are in the building next door.
